Welcome to Episode 31 of Local Life. A lifestyle video blog with Nick van Vliet presenting a series of interviews with local businesses in the Willunga, McLaren Vale, Mount Compass & surrounding areas.

In Episode 31, Nick visits Spaclubs Mt Compass and meets Louise Scott.

Business Name: Spa Clubs Mt Compass

The community has been one of our biggest selling points. They have been very supportive of the gym since we started.

What is your elevator statement?

We are here as a Mt Compass gym, as a community gym to get these locals exercising. We are part of a group of 4 gyms.

What are some of the secrets you like to share with interstate visitors and tourists when they stop in?

There are so many. We like to do a little coffee and ice cream at Alexandrina Cheese and the Fleurieu cherries at Christmas - that is a bit of a tradition in our family. As well as the Strawberry farm and Victor Harbor.

Why did you choose this site in Mt Compass to set up business?

Graham has, for 9 years, been on a little mission to have a gym in Mt Compass. It has been the lack of a building for us, so when this one came up and we all knew it was moving, it was on our radar. With help from the community hall committee, they worked with Graham and spent a good time planning to see if we can put the gym here.

Next time you are in Mt Compass  be sure to visit Louise at Spaclubs.
